Dear sir/madam,
I am looking into the life of Edward Pershing Collins. You can find him in Pioneer 1936 of the Andrew Lewis Highschool-Salem. (A wonderful initiative, by the way, to put these yearbooks on the net. Congatulations). Edward died on 12 oct 1944 in my country (Holland) when he was a Corporal in the 504th PIR 82nd Airborne. Unfortunately I cannot find him in the Honor Rolls that were published in the later editions of Pioneer. I started looking into his life when I stumbled on his name in a military uniform. Since than I have been trying to find out as much about him as I can. I share my findings with some distant and not so distant familymembers, who help me where they can.
Is there anyway that you can indicate me where I can find anything more about his schooltime period and who I can contact about the leaving out of his name on the Honor Rolls? He deserves to be there.
Greetings,
Martien ‘t Mannetje
